As every year, PADCON was a sponsor of the "PV Symposium" in Bad Staffelstein. The focus this year was "cyber security concepts" for PV power plants. This is becoming more and more important due the higher amount of hacking attacks worldwide and frequently occurring security gaps in PV systems.
In the related workshop, PADCON CEO Constantin Wenzlik presented the long-standing expertise of his company in this field. He presented measures, concepts and success stories for protecting PV power plants from cyber threats and said afterwards: "As a SCADA supplier, we maintain close relationships with our customers to ensure data security for their PV systems, and we have a duty to bring our expertise and ensure that cyber security already exists during the planning phase for a PV power plant".
